Joan Miro- The Garden

Spanish Artist Joan Miro lived from 1893-1983. He was a prolific print maker and also worked in etchings and lithographs. Today, he is recognized alongside such famous artists as Picasso and Chagall.  For this project, we used this piece by Joan Miro called The Garden as inspiration.
Materials: 
White Drawing Paper
Tempera Paint
Tissue paper cut into small pieces, and other various collage materials: buttons, foam stickers etc.
Pre-cut monster/figure shape
Oil Pastels

    These are fantastic, we have two original Miro prints, only have a photo of this one http://www.flickr.com/photos/rogersforge/3951334636/ but the other is just like your groups pictures, black blotty form flying past loads of coloured spots!!
